Stationlist - ian.c.roxburgh - 2017-01-11 Hi I wonder if anyone can help? I have been using FSXWX, problem free, for a long time now. Suddenly the program stopped working ie. although is was using Simconnect, it didn't seem to be recognising FSX anymore and was either simply not responding or was not downloading weather. I tried to reinstall the whole thing afresh but noticed that the Stationlist was not being created in the AppData section. If I returned to the original WXMAPPING, it does create the Stationlist no problem. I am puzzled! I love this program and would love to have it working again. Stationlist - fsxwx - 2017-01-15 This sounds kinda strange. Try to remember what you have changed when FSXWX 'suddenly stopped working' ... ;-) What is the last message in the log window? Does it show the Simconnect as well as FSUIPC connection established message? ian.c.roxburgh Wrote:I tried to reinstall the whole thing afresh but noticed that the Stationlist was not being created in the AppData section. Stationlist - ian.c.roxburgh - 2017-01-15 Hi Just before I started to experience the problem I had updated my Nvidia Driver. I had also installed two freeware airports. However, I tried restoring my PC to a time before my driver update. This made no difference. At present when I start FSX ang start FSXWX I see, on the log screen SIMCONNECT CONNECTION established. FSUIPC CONNECTION established. Sometimes weather does download but it doesn't seem to connect to FSX as weather on logsheet METAR doesn't correspond to that shown at FSX airport. After a time FSXWX stops responding. I'm puzzled. Stationlist - ian.c.roxburgh - 2017-01-15 Sorry forgot to say my mail is ian.c.roxburgh@btinternet.com. |
