Visibility range - alexpro - 2016-03-26 Good time of the day! My English is not very good, excuse me if I said something wrong... FSXWX is best weather engine of all I have tried. The only problem is the visibility. For me is always the same regardless of weather conditions. For example, I'm on UKCM at FL340 and begin descend for approach UKCW, head north-east. Reported weather is CAVOK in UKCM, UKCC, URKE. In my case, I don't see the southern coast of the Azov sea at the right side, everything is hidden mist. In the real flight LTAI-UKCW in similar weather conditions I saw the southern coast of Azov sea and Kerch strait. Visibility is clear if weather engine disabled, but such visibility does not happen in reality, of course. On lower levels visibility also too short for CAVOK. In my experience, visibility range is always the same at altitudes 5000 and above, regardless of weather. Is there any way to change visibility range? Or maybe I missed something? Thanks in advance for great application, with best regards. Visibility range - alexpro - 2016-03-28 It was my mistake. I had to to look more attentively. I used wrong application, for FSX, instead of P3D. With correct application seems all works fine. Excuse for troubling. Visibility range - fsxwx - 2016-03-29 In fact, there is only one version for FSX and P3D (it is the same download link), but maybe you have used an older version with a 'serious' visibility bug, that led to very low visibilities in P3D. This was fixed in version 1.5.2 - thus, only about a week ago. |
