This might not be the best forum section to ask this but as a noob I am not sure where everything goes......

Is there any plans to update this wonderful software for the upcoming Preap3d v4 when it releases (or will it already work as is......?)

I will definitely try to make it compatible.
However, FSXWX uses a FSUIPC Client DLL for .NET that probably do not work with FSUIPC5 (which will be released for P3Dv4). Furthermore, it is unclear if the offsets are still available in FSUIPC5 that I use for controlling the wind.

So, let's wait and see...

Small update: according to Pete Dowson the FSUIPC Client DLL should work with FSUIPC5. That's good news.
It remains unclear if the wind offsets still work (haven't P3Dv4 yet).

I got P3Dv4 this week and thought I'd give this app a try until the big guys release their new ones. I think it's a pretty good app and it does work in P3Dv4. I haven't checked it thoroughly but on a short flight I'm happy to report there were no issues. You have a new supporter as I may not go back to ActiveSky.
