Weather Graphics/Polygons
#1
Hi

Just discovered FSXWX - absolutely fantastic!!

How ever I have a minor problem with weather display. It seems not to be refreshing ending up with lots of lines and polygons in display. Can anyone help please?
Sorry, I cannot figure out how to upload images to show examples.

Many thanks in advance.

Hi again

In the meantime I have figured out how to load images to explain my problem. I am using FSX:SE, Registered version of FSUIPC, Airbus commercial add-on, and followed FSXWX settings as per instructions. Anyone willing to help, I would be most grateful.

This seems to be rather a graphics problem.

Can you confirm that this is ONLY happening when FSXWX is running?

Hi

Thank you for your reply. I tried running FSX:SE with default Cessna and FSX Weather Theme set to Cold Fronts as per picture below.

FSXWX was not running. Same problem with polygons showing immediate upon departure with a left turn.

However, I did not uninstall FSXWX or restore the FSX files overwritten during FSXWX installation. Was not sure whether it was necessary.

Also, look at the image below. One of the polygons seems to show the FLight Simulator X logo from behind(reverse). How weird.

What do you think is the problem. I have an Nvidia GTX760 2GB with drivers updated and running on Win 10.

Thanks and regards

Hi again,

I have resolved the issue. I rechecked my installation and realised that I had backed up the 5 cirrus cloud files by renaming the extension but had forgotten to copy the new ones back in.

Sorry to have troubled you.

Thanks and regards

Same exact issue. I re downloaded the 5 Cirrus files and placed them in the FSX/Textures file but still have the issue. Everything else looks so much better and is much more accurate.
Any suggestions? Have I not placed them in the right file?

Thanks in advance!
Dennis
