So first of all, I couldn't find any user manual explaining what all those terms popping up on the program while downloading the weather meant. What I'm referring to is (for example, the weather in Dubai) ~ "94 METAR REPORTS + 313 GRIB processed + OMBD added to grid -- 70 points in total -- 70 new points created"
What are all these terms? Could the admin please explain what 'GRIB', 'added to grid', 'points in total', etc. mean? Oh and sometimes the term "DWC added" pops up -- what does this mean?
Secondly, the FSX stutters caused by the program is a very well known issue. Has there been any update to fix this issue, and/or is the admin working on it if there isn't by any chance? (huge shoutout to the admin for creating an awesome program btw) I think possibly increasing the refresh time interval in the program would possibly help. Say, checking the weather every 15 minutes and injecting it in to the sim instead of constantly updating the weather.
Thirdly, what is the DWC menu options all about? Are they basically user-defineable options to increase/decrease the strength of weather the program injects in to the sim?
Fourthly, expanding on the weather refreshing feature, is the weather being checked and updated every 2-3 minutes by default? If not, why does the program create the "xyz points added, GRIB processed" lines every 2-3 minutes? Is this checking the weather or something else?
