Which weather Service to use

Hello

I use PROATCX and it can get its weather info from Vatsim . If I fly using FSXWX how can I be sure that PROATCX gets the same weather info. There is also the option in PROATCX to get weather info from NOAA. Just started using this programme and it looks very good.

Hi,
as long as all programs use the same/latest METAR weather reports, it shouldn't be a problem to use FSXWX and PROATCX in parallel at the same time.
FSXWX updates the METAR reports every 20 minutes. I don't know the update interval of PROATCX but even if it's slightly different or less frequent it shouldn't be a problem, e.g. in terms of runway use because the weather probably won't change drastically within 2 subsequent reports. And if VATSIM also uses real-time METAR data (I assume), which then is used by PROATCX, it makes no difference at all.
