Metar doesn't download

When I clic on connect I get this 14:57: SIMCONNECT connection established
14:57: FSUIPC connection established
but the metar doesn't download and i can't clic on disconnect or check the icao metar...etc

What does the log say exactly?
If the weather can't be downloaded for whatever reason, it should say at least 'WX DATA download failed'. Does it?

Which version do you use?

Are you still in the FSX main menu (where you select the aircraft etc.)?

Finally it worked, I tried it later that day and everything was fine, thanks anyway
