Wind randomly changing
#1
So this happened a few times, but i will mention the only one. I was doing a CTP in the PMDG 777 KJFK to EGLL and i had a 100 knot tailwing of a heading 250. For some reason, the wind would switch heading to 270 for a brief second then go back to 250. Once my aircraft almost stalled because of this. Any ideas?

Edit: And also when that happens the sound mutes and then unmutes for some reason which is annoying. My platform is P3Dv3

Yes, hello??

Looks to me, if the sim is pausing for whatever reason due to the fact that also the sound mutes shortly.
Do you use the FSUIPC auto-save feature, maybe?
And/or does this always happen in conjuction when the weather is (re-)injected (you can observe this in the log window)?

Sorry, otherwise I haven't any clue yet - not happened to me so far. But I probably will do another transatlantic flight soon to check this out.

I do not use the FSUIPC autosave and i checked the log, it randomly happens, even when theres no new weather injection. Also it doesnt seem to be pausing, the plane still flies, its the sound that pauses for some reason.

Oh and something else, sometimes the aerosoft airbus really doesnt like fsxwx. On takeoff for some reason i went to 400 knots and my fuel went to max for no reason.

Then, I highly doubt that it 'directly' has something to do with FSXWX, but rather an incompatibility with another addon.
Maybe, do have also ASN (or any other weather engine) installed? ASN uses a DLL which blocks other addons to hook up with certain variables and that could prevent FSXWX to control the winds directly.

It seems that there is something seriously wrong with your FSX installation.
The Aerosoft Airbus works fine with FSXWX.
