FSX crashes when loading in. Microsoft .NET framework error

I recently installed FSXWX, so I opened FSX, selected the aircraft, blah, blah, blah, and when I clicked FLY NOW!, FSX froze on the loading screen and then I got an error:

Unhandled exception has occured in your application.

I have the same problem....
But after several attempts, the connection succeeds, but then there are a lot of
"WX DATA download failed" errors.

I attach below a full log where you can see that it works "sometimes" but there are a lot of missed download !

I have been using FSXWX it without any problem for years with FSX-SE.
This 1.62 version seems really buggy...

 For me too!! Im very happy, i had a problem with the winds on the final appr but i changed my configs of FSUIPC and now FSXWX its working  good!

For me Version 1.6.3 did not solve the above problem.

I still get the "wx data initial download failed" error message and the Mircosoft .NET Framework unhandeled exception error. HRESULS: 0xC0000148.

Version 1.6.2 worked perfectly for me but i don´t have it anymore.

Any help would be appreciated!!!

I have the same problem.
I have done various tests to find the problem.
this started after I upgraded to the newer 1.6.3 running windows 8. I never had any problems before. I could do 9+ hr flight without any problems. now I am lucky to get 70 minutes before crashing. the tests that i have done to isolate the culprit is, 1. used PMDG 747-400 = Crash. PMDG 777 = crash, PMDG 737-800 = crash. I also had Worldwide Virtual Acars running. So I then disabled Acars and did the test again. still crash. I then disabled FSXWX and Acars did the same test and all worked fine. I then enabled Acars without FSXWX and all worked fine. I then disabled Acars and enabled FSXWX and then Crash. the result is that only and I mean only when i have FSXWX enabled my FSX will crash. Being that FSXWX is such a great add-on I decided to do another test so as to see if it is not maybe Windows, so i added a new HDD, duel booted into windows 10 pro installed FSX and PMDG and guess what? yup exactly the same again. so I can only come to the conclusion that FSXWX 1.6.3 will not work with my boxed FSX acceleration. is the earlier version still available and if so can it be used?
