Hi,
I've started using FSXWX recently and I'm really enjoying the stunning weather up until my arrival. Upon approach into the destination airport, I keep experiencing strong headwinds of 50+ knots which is completed different from what the ATIS and FSXWX METAR report (4knots apparently!). The winds I'm experiencing on approach are similar in size to those that I'm experiencing on descent (high wind speeds common at those altitudes). Obviously, this is a big problem because as soon as I land I'm slowing down to taxiing speed within 5 seconds! Could anybody please tell me what's going wrong?
For reference, I am using FSXWX 1.6.1 and I have tried landing 3 times using FSXWX but each time have experienced extremely high wind speeds that don't correspond to the METAR report. This isn't a problem for takeoff, climb, etc. it just seems to be that the winds don't match on approach.
