Historical Weather Not Updating

Hello fellow simmers, I have a quick question about this weather engine.
I am using it for FSX via WideFS and Simconnect. I flew from Paris CDG to Montreal Trudeau with historical weather. I set the weather date and time and pressed connect. The METAR times, however, never updated. It stayed at 2130Z. Is the weather updating? What am I doing wrong? Or is it suppose to be this way where historical weather is only offered in static kind of pick your time and get the weather for that time? Thanks in advance for your answers.

Yes, the historical data is indeed 'static'. It is a good idea to make it 'semi-static'.

With the new version 1.6.0, there is the possibilty to 'follow' historic data if you set the time to 'Sim' and just select a past date/time in the sim.

That's great news! However, I saw that you are not testing it in FSX anymore, so I'm going to do it for you. :) With the new options, I'm really seeing this as a viable alternative to Active Sky 2016. (I only have the P3D license for AS2016.)
Flying some VFR at St. Maarten with 1.6 soon, I'll report back my findings.
