WX DATA initial download failed

It's 01 October 2021 @ 10:21PM.  Started getting this about 3 hours ago.  Anyone else getting this? Just curious if it's my equipment OR the providing data server.  Hope it clears soon.

02:21: Auto connect attempt
02:21: SIMCONNECT connection established
02:21: FSUIPC connection established
02:21: WX DATA initial download failed
02:21: Connection closed

same here its suddenly not working !!!

It's 29 Oct 2021 and I have just confirmed that the FSXWX v1.6.3.a works fine on P3Dv5.2 hot-fix.
I too also got "02:21: WX DATA initial download failed" message on my initial attempts to start the software.
It connected fine to "simconnect" and "FSUIPC" no problems.

Then I changed the "Time" configuration to "Current" and everything worked as advertised.
no hitches at all.

It downloaded 72 weather stations and added them into my Flight-plan, and I was able to query weather stations along my
planned rout.
