WX DATA initial download failed

I have been encountering problems with FSXWX since 11/29/2019. When I start FSX, one of two things will occur with FSXWX:

(1) FSXWX will make the connection to FSX, but the weather download fails:

20:29: Auto connect attempt
20:29: SIMCONNECT connection established
20:29: FSUIPC connection established
20:29: WX DATA initial download failed
20:29: Connection closed

(2) FSX will make the connection to FSX, inject the weather for the departure airport (KORD), which I can confirm in FSX, but then within 15 seconds FSXWX will again throw a data dowload error and close the connection.

If I manually reconnect FSXWX to FSX and attempt to retrieve airport weather, I receive the following:

20:50: SIMCONNECT connection established
20:50: FSUIPC connection established
20:50: ////////////// METAR //////////////
20:50: KORD not found

Yes, that's exactly what i had yesterday in my P3D4 after i took off the aircraft.
By the way, aircraft was CRJ from aerosoft.
.... but the weather was working alright ... then sudenly my simulator crashed.

This is exactly the error I get when I start FSXWX in P3dV4.

I have NO problems in FSX

yes there is someonething wrong with fsxwx lately hope they fix soon

I have p3d v 4.5 and the same error you report. I tried this: set flight simulator time at current conputer time. It worked for me!

With P3dv4.4

I already tried:

- turn auto-connect off
- trying diffrent settings in the tool
