Thank you for an outstanding weather engine. My environment is Windows 10 Professional, Prepar3D v3.4 (Professional License) with an Intel i7-6900K 3.20GHz CPU and GEForce GTX 1080 graphics card. My cloud textures are REX 4 Texture Direct with Soft Clouds except for the replacement of the cirrus layers per the installation instructions. I have been using FS Global Real Weather and am considering replacing it with your product. However, in my tests of FSXWX I am seeing consistently higher GPU utilization, many times 95-100% (pegged at 100 quite often), where FS Global Weather in the same weather conditions and same geographic location results in about 75-80% utilization. Moreover, when using FSXWX I am seeing high GPU temps as well. I'm seeing in excess of 60 degrees C, where with FS Global Real Weather I see a maximum of 45-47 C. I have FSXWX 1.6.1 installed and followed the installation document. I have no problems with the operation of FSXWX other than the noted GPU utilization. I have tried running with and without the volumetric fog option to see if it made a difference and it did not. Any help you could offer would be appreciated.
