Missing metar station HAAB
#1
Thanks for making this great weather software. It's very nice and smooth, but I ran into a small problem.
Today I was flying into HAAB and QNH should be 1027. But in FSX when I press B on the ground, it shows 1013. When I try to find the metar of HAAB in FSXWX "Information" window, it says "not found". Also, it doesn't even show in "nearest". Maybe this is a bug?

Sometimes, it is possible that certain airport stations are missing because they don't report up-to-date METAR information. Thus, the source is missing and FSXWX tells you "not found" when you request it.
Maybe, this was the case yesterday and no accurate weather for HAAB could be generated.
Right now, the HAAB weather report is available.

Okay, thanks for the response, and your explanation sounds reasonable. I understand that an old metar is not very accurate. But IMO an old metar is still better than having no info at all. After all we only need the metar from NOAA to match the one injected into our flight sim, so that we can at least plan to land at the correct rwy with correct QNH.

I absolutely agree with that!
Actually, the reason that FSXWX uses *only* up-to-date METAR reports is the way the query to recieve reports from NOAA is implemented right now.
I might consider to change it in the future.
