No winds and STD pressure
#1
Saw your message on AVSIM and decided to give it a shot. Visuals look good but wind is alway 0 and pressure always 2992.
Anything I'm doing incorrectly?

I tried at KSEA and just now at KMBT.

Also visibility is always unlimited it seems. Went to KLAX which reports according to FSXWX:

15:31:20: KLAX 241453Z 00000KT 1/4SM R25R/0800V1200FT FG BKN001 11/11 A3008 RMK AO2 SLP185 T01110111 53007 $ + true aloft
15:31:20: KHHR 241449Z 00000KT 1SM BR VV001 10/09 A3008 RMK AO2 $ + true aloft KLAX
15:31:20: KSMO 241451Z 00000KT M1/4SM FG VV001 11/09 A3008 RMK AO2 SLP185 60001 T01060089 53009 + true aloft KLAX

Thanks, yes: your first problem (no wx at KSEA) is confirmed.
FSX seems to re-write some (random?) station codes back into the emptied wxstationlist.BIN, so that these stations reappear in FSX (and mess around with FSXWX). Among those, I have also found various stations around Seattle... I am looking into that.

KLAX, however, is correct on my side:

OK, I have changed the technique to let FSX forget its own stations (which caused the trouble at KSEA)
The instructions are updated accordingly.
