Clouds above fl200

Good evening, I wonder why the program does not have clouds above the fl 200, cumulus type.

Yes indeed, this is correct. Above FL220 all cumulus (CU) clouds are replaced with the stratus (AS) type. Just to mention: FSX/P3D only has three different cloud types: CU, AS or CI (cirrus).

And the CU clouds in FSX/P3D rather looks like those puffy cotton-wool clouds, that are mainly found in lower levels. Thus, they look odd (IMHO) in higher levels.

By the way: Unfortunately, there is also no data source data (like METAR) available that includes the cloud type. Therefore, FSXWX has to decide on its own, which type is probably the most suitable one under the current conditions.
