1)Is there anyway to modify where the layer of upper visibility begins? ( like ,,instead of around 20000 feet, lower it to around 12000 feet maybe).
2) It was at the exact time while I was writing this post.maybe from 5 minutes prior.given the time i'd take to finish writing the post.
That day, when i noticed first the low visibility i checked the current weather on the internet, and indeed it was 5 miles visibility from the ground, but it was sunny, clear skies.. thus eliminating the possibility of fog.(plus its the Caribbean, ground fog conditions are very rare). It might be a limitation of FSX..taking 5 miles visibility as foggy conditions. I now have an idea of what happens when the route option is enabled, and why visibility becomes so foggy, based on what you are telling me.
In real life, i am 2 hours ahead of fsxwx stated time. Im going to post data from fsx right now. For me its currently 10 am while for fsxwx its 8 am
I've done the test with route option enabled and disabled right now and the change in visibility is not happening:
Route Disabled
08:08: 119 METAR reports + 315 GRIB points processed - 71 points in total - 71 new points created
08:08: Injection mode: all - 71 new stations created - 71 stations injected

Route Enabled
08:10: 120 METAR reports + 315 GRIB points processed - MKJS added to grid - MKJP added to grid - 73
points in total - 73 new points created
08:10: Injection mode: all - 73 new stations created - 73 stations injected

Im sorry for the late response I've been busy with classes these days.
